He aha te mea nui o tenei ao? Maku e kii atu, He tangata, he tangata, he tangata!
You may ask: What is the greatest thing in this world?
I will answer, it is people, it is people, it is people!
We welcome the involvement of our parents and caregivers. They are a caring, generous and talented group of people. Without their support, involvement and feedback, our school would be a lesser place.

Parent Teacher Association
Welcome to the Cardinal McKeefry PTA!
Cardinal McKeefry School is a small city school (just 15 minutes from Wellington city centre) but with the feel of a country school. We are a vibrant school community, with an active PTA.
What do we do?
The PTA runs events during the year to raise money for the school, and to help bring the school community together. Over the last year we have been fundraising to upgrade our playground.
Committee Member or Helper?
Would you like to get involved in supporting the PTA? We are always keen to welcome new members or helpers.
The Committee meets once a month, for an hour, in the school staff room. We discuss and plan upcoming events and fundraising activities. We love to hear your ideas and to welcome new members!
We also have a group of helpers – people who don’t have the time to be a Committee Member, but who are willing to help out with the occasional event.
How much time?
You decide how much time you have available. We are always in need of helpers for our various events, and we understand that not everyone is in a position to become a Committee Member. Even half an hour of your time would help us enormously!
Get in touch! Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org , or have a chat with one of our friendly committee members. We’d love to see you at one of our meetings –7pm in the school staff room, on the first Wednesday of each month.
