Over the next few days we will be uploading some pictures of our recent Feast Day celebrations and our Olympic Walkathon. Today I woudl like to share with you some lovely from the students in Room 5.
Dear Mary,
I go to a Catholic School and today it is your Feast Day when we celebrate by singing, going to church and doing activities about you. Our school cares for each other and we pray.
I know the story of when Jesus was born in a stable. I think it would have been really hard to sleep but it is good that the shepherd gave you lots of wool.
Mary, you are really generous and kind. I really like the way you looked after Jesus and cared for him.

Dear Mary,
My name is Alisha. Today we are celebrating you feast day by singing songs about you. I am from New Zealand. My teacher’s name is Mary, just like you.
When Gabriel, the angel came you must have felt astonished. You were very brave. What did Gabriel look like? You were also very kind. Thank you for being a brave, caring and helpful person. You had lots of interesting things happen to you. I think you are very gentle. Please help me to compromise.

Dear Mary,
My name is Lily and today is your Feast Day so we went to church and sang songs about you. My teacher is called Mary as well and I go to Cardinal McKeefry School. You are our patron saint and we look up to you.
When Jesus died on the cross it would have been sosad. When you acted for people who had no wine it would have been amazing when Jesus turned the water into wine. That would have been cool. What was it like that day?
Thank you for all you have done and I hope you had a good life. I will try to be a better person by including people in my games and by sharing everything I can. It would be very hard to have a baby in a stable.
