Financial Literacy

On a recent Friday, Years 2-6 took part in some fun, but useful “financial literacy” classes facilitated by Jeffrey Crosby. Students learned a bit about how to make your money work for you and the value of savings. Perhaps a small increase in participation in our ASB School Banking is a sign of effectiveness.

All students have arrived back at school, well prepared and ready for the interesting and challenging range of learning experiences planned for the next eight weeks. They include: Aquatics, attending International Festival of the Arts performances, some interesting visitors from the community and more.

Year 1-6 EOTC programme was another great success this year.
Three of the highlight days:
Year 4-6 five hour tramp along the ridge of Johnson’s Hill.
Year 1-3 exploring treasures of Wellington – Te Papa, City Gallery and Wellington Public Library.
Year 4-6 orienteering, bush craft and archery.
